Why We Need You
The Software QA Manager will oversee the QA team in Tbilisi, driving end-to-end quality assurance processes and collaborating closely with development, product, and operations teams. This role requires a strategic leader with expertise in automation, API testing, and QA practice setup, capable of fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
What You’ll Be Doing
- Establish and scale QA processes, frameworks, and best practices from the ground up.
- Design and implement a robust QA strategy aligned with Agile/DevOps methodologies.
- Lead, mentor, and grow the QA team in Tbilisi, ensuring adherence to testing standards.
- Promote skill development in automation, API testing, and modern tools.
- Drive adoption of Katalon, Postman, TestRail, and other tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) to enhance testing efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, and API testing.
- Partner with developers and product teams to integrate QA into the SDLC.
- Ensure seamless CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing and deployment.
- Define KPIs (e.g., defect density, test coverage) and report on QA performance to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated with industry trends (e.g., AI-driven testing) and ensure compliance with regional regulations.
- Problem-Solving & Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the development process and proactively address them through appropriate QA measures. Implement solutions to minimize product defects and ensure a smooth game launch.
What You Bring to the Team
- 5+ years in QA management, with 2+ years in setting up QA practices and leading QA teams in software development.
- Expertise in API Testing (Postman), Test Automation (Katalon, Selenium), and Test Case Management (TestRail).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub) and Agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to build, mentor, and motivate QA teams.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing tools (automation tools, issue tracking systems, etc.), and software development lifecycles (SDLC).
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and management, with a track record of mentoring and developing teams to achieve high performance.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and adapt to different cultural contexts. Fluency in English is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward identifying risks and finding solutions.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing quality across multiple products and teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the igaming or fintech industries.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Familiarity with AI/ML testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and testing automation frameworks.
