Why We Need You
We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to guide a 10-person dev team working with a major technology provider. This role combines technical expertise in .NET Core 8, AWS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Mysql and Redis with leadership responsibilities. You’ll architect and develop scalable backend systems while ensuring alignment with frontend stacks (Vue.js, TypeScript). Ideal candidates thrive in high-performance environments and can bridge backend/frontend collaboration for our cutting-edge gaming platform.
What You’ll Be Doing
Technical Leadership:
• Lead design/development of scalable backend services using .NET Core 8, AWS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Mysql, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Drive cloud-native solutions (AWS Lambda, EC2, S3) and event-driven architectures (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL/Redis) and troubleshoot distributed systems.
Team & Project Management:
• Mentor 10 backend/full-stack engineers (performance reviews, skill development).
• Own sprint delivery: plan tasks, conduct code reviews, and ensure quality (Agile/Scrum).
• Coordinate with front-end teams on Vue.js/TypeScript integration for end-to-end features.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Partner with frontend leads to align API design with Vue.js/TypeScript requirements.
• Liaise with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure.
• Translate product goals into technical specs for backend systems.
Engineering Excellence:
• Enforce coding standards, testing practices, and documentation.
• Champion microservices, performance optimization, and system reliability.
• Identify technical debt and lead improvement initiatives.
What You Bring to the Team
Technical Expertise:
• 7+ years backend development, 2+ years leading dev team.
• Mastery of .NET Core 8, C#, AWS (Lambda/EC2/S3), RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Redis.
• Experience with Vue.js and TypeScript (collaboration/integration exposure required; hands-on preferred).
• Database tuning, messaging systems, and cloud-native architectures.
• Kubernetes, microservices, gaming/entertainment platforms.
Leadership & Soft Skills:
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and manage project timelines.
• Strong English communication (written/verbal) for cross-cultural teamwork.
• Agile mindset with problem-solving focus and stakeholder management.
Nice to Have:
• Frontend development experience (Vue.js/TypeScript).
• Knowledge of real-time systems or high-traffic applications.
