Why We Need You

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with expertise in .NET Core 8, AWS, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, and Redis to join our team working with a major Asian gaming technology provider. This position offers an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems as part of a cutting-edge gaming platform. What You’ll Be Doing

• Backend Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using .NET Core 8, adhering to industry’s best practices.

• Scalable Systems: Build scalable, distributed systems optimized for performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Cloud-Native Applications: Leverage AWS services for application deployment, scaling, and management.

• Message Queuing: Implement messaging and event-driven architecture using RabbitMQ.

• Database Management: Develop and optimize database solutions with PostgreSQL and Redis for high-speed data storage and retrieval.

• Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of backend systems with other application layers.

• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues across the backend stack to ensure system reliability.

• Agile Development: Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

What You Bring to the Team

• Strong proficiency in .NET Core 8 and C#.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS).

• Knowledge of RabbitMQ or similar messaging systems for distributed systems.

• Expertise in relational databases like PostgreSQL and in-memory data stores such as Redis.

• Minimum of 5 years of backend development experience, preferably in high-performance and distributed systems.

• Experience in gaming or entertainment technology platforms.

• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes is a plus.
